Ronald P. Walker, CPA, MBA is a member of the Board of Directors of Right Beginnings, Inc.

Mr. Walker is founder and Managing Partner of Washington, DC-based Walker & Co., LLP, and has dedicated his career to setting new standards of excellence in every arena of the accounting profession. Walker & Co., LLP, a 10 person financial and management service consulting firm, specializes in developing proactive assurance and consultative services in accounting, auditing, tax and financial and business management for corporations, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. Walker & Co., LLP's clients have included foundations, professional services firms, and high net worth individuals.

Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Walker served as Partner-in-Charge of the Washington, DC office of Mitchell and Titus, one of the largest African-American owned CPA firms in the United States. Additionally, Mr. Walker was an international financial adviser at the Ford Foundation.

With a career spanning more than 40 years, Mr. Walker is considered a significant and well-respected presence in the Washington, DC auditing and accounting community. His professional experience include several federal and local government auditing success stories. Mr. Walker has dedicated his career to finding practical solutions to financial challenges. Mr. Walker is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants where he served as President; and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is Chairman of the Division of Firms (DOF), the national association of African American owned CPA firms. He is past Chairman of SBA's DC Small Business Development Center Advisory Board, past Finance Committee Chair of the Greater Southeast Community Hospital (now United Medical Center), and past Chairman of Family Savings Bank of Los Angeles (now One United Bank).Mr. Walker holds an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Accounting from New York University. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the District of Columbia. A native New Yorker, he resides with his family in Washington, DC.
